Kansas City Steel Werx, Inc. was founded early in 2016 by Timothy Olah, after seeing a need to expand into the miscellaneous metals market. Partnered with Kansas City Structural Steel, Inc., KC Steel Werx, Inc. offers clients the combined capacity for over 100,000 square feet of fabrication space, both well equipped with state of the art automation equipment.
Tim is a 2nd generation iron worker and is also experienced at running a field crew. Tim has instilled in all management representatives the same quality and erector “friendly” goals that he used to found both companies.
Our facility contains 44,000 square feet of enclosed production space, and a 13,000 square feet office.
We utilize SDS/2 and Tekla Structures both state of the art computerized detailing programs, capable of generating Building Information Modeling (BIM) to ensure accurate detailing and fabrication, along with generating CNC files that work together with our production equipment increasing our productivity and reducing costs to our clients.
